Supportive listening has clear limits.

Not healthcare
Emotional Listening is a private listening and supportive conversation service. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care, psychiatric care, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional mental-health support.
No emergency response
The service is not a crisis line and is not monitored for emergencies. Do not wait for a session or an enquiry response if you may be in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else.
What you can expect
A listener may give you time and attention, reflect what they hear, and maintain respectful boundaries. They cannot diagnose you, prescribe medication, provide clinical safety planning, or guarantee a particular result.
When to seek professional help
Contact a qualified doctor, mental-health professional, or local emergency service if you need assessment, treatment, urgent help, or ongoing clinical support.
